Here's a question. When you're changing an entire web interface for those who are web hosting clients, how about a bigger login change than just the CAPITALIZATION? Sheesh, I still can't believe this email crap.

OH MYGOD. I can't fucking believe this shit. Again, I have found out AFTER FILLING OUT A TROUBLE TICKET, that my email login has changed. I've FINALLY gotten my email working now. 63 fucking messages. GRRR.
I am so pissed. At the very least I can now say that I can finally get some stuff done now.
Thanks for everyone who tried to send test emails, I finally got em. $%#^&@$%!@%$!@#%@

Not much going on today. My wonderful child has been quite fussy and cries for hours at a time. We've tried everything, and have found that, strangely enough, the sound of the hair dryer works quite well (for awhile anyway). Then there is the rocking, the humming, the singing, the pleading. Ugh. It's a struggle, I'll tell ya that.
Hmm...otherwise, I've drawn out my plan for databases at work. I'm going to see if I can get this blog transferred to another system so that I can allow comments. I'd love to see what everyone thinks about these, and others past and future, ideas.
Anyway, time for Other Stuff.

Phew, financial crisis passed. Got my loan renewed today so we could go to the grocery store and pay bills. I tell ya, I'm not a worrier, but I was devoting a bit too much time to figuring out if I had enough money for a burger or what have you.
My email. It's fucked. Will someone PLEASE try to email me SOMETHING at evan@misterorange.com? Just saying "Hey, this is a test email" will be enough. I have some stuff I need to send to DVDAngle, but I can't seem to receive email at that addy...grr...
Hmm. Anyway.

Okay, now I'm getting really paranoid. Now, is it me, or has my email completely stopped working? For those of you, yes, all three, who read this, please please email me and see if it works. This means an email to evan@misterorange.com, not the hotmail address. I can send a test email to myself, but damn, I should've recieved SOME email to that account. I haven't ever since that damn change-over where they screwed my ftp login among "other things"

Two words ladies and gents: fake shark. Aww yeah.
Today we went to my workplace and the "unveiling" took place, where I showed the world my beautiful amazing daughter who I love more than life itself. Of course she did get a little fussy (well, a lot fussy) before the end of the three plus hour visit, but it was still nice to see that the rest of my friends think she's pretty great too :)
Not much else going on today. About to go back to Blockbuster and return 18 Wheeler. Let me tell ya, that game SUCKS. I mean sucks like a hoover. It's that bad.
Peace out.

Yay! I'm not going to jail! This is a good thing. For the speeding ticket, I merely have to get a money order with the right amount, and make sure its postmarked for today. I'm about to take a shower and begin my Stuff For This Afternoon, so that will be apart of it. Ericka's dying for some wine, so I'll pick that up as well.
Hmm...out of work so long..its nice to be with my family, and have the ability to just sit back and think about things. Like, for instance, I watched most of Stanley Kubrick: A Life In Pictures last night and the sheer excitement and adrenaline at the near possibility of becoming a director, of making a film...its amazing. It's what I would love to do. I'm not going beyond that, but I'd like to get some work done in that area.
Well, not much else going on today. It seems as though Jimmy's blog is dead dead dead. What happened?

Well, here she is. The first ever picture of my child. It's not the best, but it's the first. Enjoy =)

Fuck, fuck fuck. On my trip to Atlanta last month, I got a ticket coming home. Total? $151. Now you can pay these tickets online, which is what I attempted to do today. However, I only noticed the little disclaimer afterwards that states: "Internet payments must be made 2 days before your court date". Well, my court date is tomorrow, and its so late that their closed, so I'll have to call early in the morning and see if I can get an extension or something. Hell, I can at the very least say that my wife had a child and that may possibly buy me some time, though I'll probably end up paying a late fee.
Ugh. I feel awful. My stomach is hurting and I'm generally tired. My wonderful child cried, on and off (mostly on), for four straight hours this morning/early afternoon. She's now sleeping peacefully, but damn...it took awhile.
Tommy and Amanda w/ Dylan might come over in a little while, but I'm not sure. I wouldn't count on it at least. Couples w/ kids have a hard time going anywhere, especially on time.
Been playing a bit of Sim Golf. Neat little game, I like it. The "playing" enhancement, where you can actually play on the courses you construct...well, sucks. But otherwise its a pretty neat game.
Anyway, back to the grind.

Happy Father's day ya'll, it's nice to be one :)
My dad should be here in an hour or two, and Ericka will make dinner for us and possibly my little sister Jamie. Part of me is sad that I really haven't spent that much time with her at all. She's 14 or so now, and while we used to hang out a lot when I was younger and used to stay with my Dad a lot, times have changed and I barely know the girl. Oh well, family is family and there's not much that will change that.
Ericka's parent's were going to come up today but her mother found out that while she might have a pinched nerve in her lower back, the kidney infection the doctor's just discovered is probably the cause of all her agony. When she went into the Emergency Room for the pain, they didn't check her out at all, and just gave her Lodine (very much like codine), as well as Hydrocodone, both nice, but dangerous, painkillers in their own right. No exam, no anything. Just "are you in pain?" "yup" "Well, here ya go," and sent her on. Her doctor finally diagnosed her, and here's hoping for a swift recovery.
Lastly we saw our neighbors today, and I proceeded to win 2 out of 3 games of PS2 NBA Street against the guy, and we bought $25 worth of clothes off them since they're little girl stuff and they're having a little boy (due June 29th) and their 1 year old little girl is too old for them. So that's neat.
Hrm...Alpha Centauri. Neat game. I'm not sure if I'm utilizing it to its fullest potential, but I do like turn-based strategy as much as the next guy. I do have fond memories of Civilization (the original, DOS based) and hell, you can get that for free as well as playing online using FreeCiv, even in Linux. :)
Welp, time for more Stuff (tm). Adios.
