Here are a few of my favorite cards.

I like this card because it works so well in the "hating high costed permanents" also known as hating on Titan permanents, which are all (with the exception of the multicolored ones) at least seven mana. This spell is also excellent in weenie decks and/or Impetus Cyclone decks. ![]()
What can I say? I like White Lightning Bolts. This is a very interesting card in that it goes perfectly into Blue/White decks anyway (due to Blue's access to discard), as well as Black/White decks for the same reason. This guy is great because White rarely gets access to haste, and it bleeds the color pie something awful, but as a White Weenie it's a standout.

My favorite deck archetype of all time is White Weenie. I love when that deck does well and I always try to give my sets plenty of White Weenie fodder. Between this and the Butler Brothers (check out the set to see em), this should get you on your way to victory with undercosted white monsters. ![]()
I'm sure in Extended this says "Go get target Meloku and put it into play", but that's part of the fun. I think this would be a very popular Johnny and Spike card, as it can go get all sorts of bombs (Meloku, Keiga, etc) and also all sorts of combo pieces (Ambassador Laquatus). Fun stuff.

One of the first (if not the first) card I designed for the set, this card set me on the idea of using Madness, Discard outlets, and the Cycling mechanic differently. Sure it doesn't mention those things on it, but the potential is there. I've also been told this is insanely powerful. And that may very well be true.

It's a blue Shock! How clearer can it get? I think with Blue you can easily use direct damage if you cost it appropriately. And what does Blue value higher than its draw step?

I just love this design. It basically explains most of the themes in one fell swoop. You get more than you pay for in this block, and that's true here. The defacto black destruction spell is tied to a Cycling card, and if you want to destroy a Human it's even cheaper (But you don't get a Horror card out of it). ![]()
This guy is very interesting to me. The ability to create a new token at will is exciting to me. Even if you have to keep paying for it, even if the blue mage is driving you nuts by bouncing it, this guy will always be a threat and can be one quite early. Bomb in limited, could be a powerhouse in constructed (But it IS just a 1/1).

Hopefully non-game designers will grok how cool this guy is. Another interesting-because-its-antithesis to the block cards, the type Zombie and Horror are referenced very, very frequently in this set and the fact that this is unsearchable makes it remarkable whereas in any other set it would be completely superfluous. Fun. ![]()
So I gave White a Lightning Bolt, and Blue a Shock, so why not give Lightning Bolt back to its original color? That's what I'm screamin, and it's fun stuff to be sure. This is as "fixed" as I can make it, and plays pretty well. Would it impact as many formats as I think it would? Perhaps.

Ah yes, the Spitz. This little guy will be annoying the hell out of you generally any time your opponent plays it. This guy, alone, virtually guarantees that Red Deck Wins (or some form of quick Red/Green Red/White Aggro) will be prevalent in block play. I like ole Spitz a lot. ![]()
I love cards that make you play differently, and I also love how this guy is a fantastic topdeck. A skill tester in a lot of formats, I think.

Here's another homage to Eternal Witness, a "fixed" version that I don't think would get too out of control, but also ties in perfectly with the Madness...ah..."madness", heh. ![]()
My friend Joe really enjoys cards that punish mass removal. This is mine.

This enchantment is insane. Either the entire game grinds to a halt or things get out of control quickly. Multiplayer games are nuts with this. ![]()
I'll keep trying to recreate fixed versions of the classics if you'll play with em. This is, of course, my homage to Sol Ring (and a little bit of Jinxed Choker).

You can't not love this mechanic. I'll probably be revisiting this emphasis on colored/colorless mana in the future. This is also not a new idea, as I noticed it in other custom sets around the net. It just intrigues me is all, and just look how sexy this creature is until you realize how hard it is to actually cast it! ![]()
This is another card that I designed very early on. Almost as soon as I came up with Rescind, this card came right after. I love how you can bounce it over and over as needed, four mana a whack.
