White is an interesting color. Their flavor is mainly in the defensive, combat-trick heavy environment with various synergy regarding destroying creatures as well as enchantments and life gain. I tried to capitalize on all of these things, and particularly fought hard to weave the story within the cards. You'll notice there are a lot of Soldiers in White, led by two main characters: Dulan, Gen'dai Conquerer and Hayzan, King of Marzan:

These guys lead the charge against the evil of Durak the Forgotten and Markin, Vampire Lord.
The primary theme in Fires of Heaven White is that of Vigilance and effects that happen when those creatures become tapped. Both the tapping enchantment cycle, Mist of Justice in this case, plus the "Enablers" such as Marzan Adept and Marzan Journeyer give the deck efficient creatures from which to use and abuse. I think you'll find it fun and interesting to play around with the tapping/untapping dynamic (Seedborn Muse comes to mind) and ways to abuse it.
White also got the Training keyword. This is a mechanic born of necessity after I removed Unblockability from white. Originally White had Unblockability and Blue had the ability to take it away. There were anti-Unblockability spells in both enemy colors (red and black), while Green largely ignored the theme. When I learned that you can only take away a keyworded mechanic and not Unblockability as a currently used concept, I scrapped it and started over. The Vigilance/Tapping theme arose from this need, and to the set's benefit, I think.
Here are a few of my favorite white cards:

This one originally began as a 2/2, pro red, tap to prevent 1 to a creature or player. After going back over the Version 1.4 feedback, I updated this one to mesh with the Vigilance/Tapping theme. I think it provides a dynamic, particularly against Red decks, that makes this card a cut above the rest.

I'm a big fan of cycles in all sizes, and this is no different. After testing, I realized that two white removal spells were remarkably similar. So I mirrored the Plains Blink ability and the bonus for nailing a black creature. Then I made their costs the same and here we are. I like these quite a bit.

I'm a sucker for big game-swingers. Particularly against aggressive decks, sometimes an extra turn will buy you time that you wouldn't normally have. I've always loved Reverse Damage and couldn't find an all-encompassing version, so I just made one.
