Hrmph
I'm feeling very non-writerly right now and I'm not sure why.
I see sites like Violent Acres and I wonder which is worse: The people they pick on or how they pick on them.
I then read a site like Trainwrecks and am curious as to how long this lineage of pseudo-importance blog culture has been developing.
In the many years that blogging has been upon us, many of them have written books, gone onto speaking engagements, and so on.
I personally have gotten legal threats and interesting emails and great contacts as a result of blogging. I've always been a proponent of it.
However, this whole week I've been sick and felt terrible. I went home early on Monday and have dragged ass all week.
Ugh. I need some chicken soup or something.
The family update returns with a vengence tomorrow.

Just wanted to say thanks for the Violent Acres link.......I have never seen anyone more full of shit!! It was fucking hilarious!!
Nice. Ditto on that Violent Acres kudos. Loved the Tucker Max dig. It's pretty much right on. I like Dooce tho and those digs aren't that funny... except that little kid with a hand full of Ann Coulter.
There is a blog I visit often that has a qoute on the main page:
"When people ask me if these stories are true, I prefer to say that they are true enough."
- David Sedaris
On a side note: I know you've recently moved to GoDaddy. They actually offer Word Press there. I didn't realize it or else I would have started with it instead of blogger. I'm in the process of setting up a new blog.
We show you how to fight that stupid Violent Acres, read on my blog topic about it at womendiary.net and tell me what you think.
