Five Things That Make Me Happy

1. Awesome YouTube videos.

A good example from today, where a CNN reporter leaves her mic on while going to the bathroom and chatting with a coworker.

Does she diss her sister-in-law on national televsion? You bet she does!

 2. The Daily WTF

A few excellent examples from this awesome site that details the "WTF?" moments that occur in IT:

- Back That Thang Up

- Pop-Up Potpourri - Givin it 120%

And don't forget that August 29th (yesterday) will always be Jed Day. MostlyTrue? You betcha!

3. The Perry Bible Fellowship - NOT a church, but rather a ridiculously funny and over-the-top comic strip series.

Some solid examples:

Tunnel of Love

Woolves

4. Fantasy Football.

Repeat after me: No Madden Curse This Year! Yes, I signed up and last Saturday put together a great team with one small flaw...can you find it?

Matt Hasselbeck (Sea - QB)
Santana Moss (Was - WR)
Nate Burleson (Sea - WR)
Shaun Alexander (Sea - RB)
Jerramy Stevens (Sea - TE)
Warrick Dunn (Atl - RB)
Adam Vinatieri (Ind - K)
Carolina DEF

Yeah, I sorta lucked into the entire Seattle Seahawks team. Apparently following information from the Fantasy Football pundits can lead you to draft around last years' Super Bowl teams.

Oops.

Oh well, my first time out and I think Shaun Alexander as my first pick (Pick #3!) was just ridiculous.

However, Gary got Larry Johnson, the other big running back to first pick, so we'll see who comes out.

Unfortunately mine could fall under the Madden Curse, but I got high hopes.

5. YouTube Ambitions

Oh yeah, my YouTube page is rocking with new videos at least once a week or so. I'm currently working on posting the games I played against StarCityGames editor and English National Champ Craig Stevenson, where I beat him in a best of 5 matchup in Battle Royale, a budget deck contest.

Lots of fun and instant feedback via comments and ratings. Yummy.

And that's all for today. You keep on rocking em, I'll keep on rolling em up.

Awesome website. One of my daily reads. The CNN video was hilarious, and I've now bookmarked the DailyWTF.
