Family Matters, Week of 7-9-06

Every week I write about my family. Welcome to it.

Annie (4yr old Hot Stuff)

Abby, Emma, and AnnieAnnie has been signed up for cheerleading. Now this may seem strange, her being four and all, which is why I said “this seems strange…” when I first heard about it.

So you would think that, after gathering up the $45 for the uniform, the people in charge of the local kiddie football league would be ready to take the money…right?

Right. And suddenly after three phone calls we hear nothing. Annie, of course, is out of her mind with excitement and we are currently fully using the “Cheerleader’s don’t…” phrase with wanton abandon. Such as “Cheerleader’s don’t pick their nose,” “Cheerleader’s don’t hit their sister,” and so on.

It’s funny how you can manipulate a child’s dreams into discipline.

Abby (2yr Old Rocker)

Abigail is definitely growing up. She’s (as usual) getting better at her speech and is just as lovable as ever.

Recently her and Annie got into a … struggle of sorts. The struggle in question involved Annie choking Abby, Supah Smile!and Abby chocking Annie after said choking had begun.

Apparently Ericka found them in this dual-choke mode, screamed for me, and the smack was Laid Down.

“What in the world is going on here?” I boom in my Dad Voice.

Annie is crying. She knows she’s in trouble. According to Ericka and Abby, Annie decided to do a little of the ole neck squeezing, and while I don’t know where she got it from (cartoons, I’m sure), that didn’t stop the spanking nor the explanation that “We don’t choke our sister.” (and of course, “Cheerleaders don’t hurt their sisters.”)

While I’m proud of Abby not taking it lying down (i.e. She Choked Back), but still…a little strange, no?

Ericka (her myspace)

Ericka is, as I write this, hard at working icing up breasts.

Wait, what?

Yes, you read that correctly. She has baked two beautiful 6–inch cakes, frozen them, then carved them into the appropriate bust size. This is for her friend Lindsay’s birthday (Happy BDay Linds) and I for one am sad she didn’t go for the cream option. Evidently Ericka had the ability to add cream or filling of some sort into the cake(s). Can you imagine two beautiful, edible breasts filled with delicious pudding?

*cough*

Yeah, so, um. Okay. I’ll stop talking now.

Until next time, feel free to become an IT professional for a few minutes. Wanna know how? Imagine you’re facing some really weird problem with a Microsoft product. Then you enter the Support Chain Nightmare of Overseas Help.

Then watch this.

Lastly: Did you know I create Magic the Gathering videos?

Glaciers melting in the dead of night
And the superstars sucked into the supermassive black hole

If you dont' put a picture of the breast cake on here, we are no longer friends.

Creme Filled? That is one of the funniest things I have read this week.
