Conned, Differently
Okay Sony, I give up: I was conned. Just like yesterday’s post, you sure looked legit, but when the rubber hit the road, you were just another wannabe. You have officially be overtaken by the DS.
I’m not stranger to hype and I certainly fell for it at the time. But no more! You won’t seduce me with the PS3, no matter how shiny the games on it may be. I barely play my PS2, and that’s after I got it working after a month-long hiatus just recently.
Who knew that I was completely wrong when I wrote this? Not I, anyway.
Nintendo has shown, once again, that they know how to make a system that is fun, cool, and interesting. My wife adores the DS and my kids are enamored with it. They continue to release great games such as the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. And don’t even act like you’re not excited about that one. It’s the frickin Mario Brothers. All huge. And stomping the baddies.
What has the PSP provided me? A lackluster RPG and a decent tennis game. I’m sorry Sony, this isn’t what I signed up for. At this point I’m wondering when I should try to work with the PSP as a emulator to play better games for older systems (e.g. SNES, as shown) or if I should just scrap it and go with sell the damned thing. There isn’t a single game I would be excited to own, much less buy.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Ya jerks.
What do you know? Oh you know nothing!
But I'll still take you home

Hey, I still have my sexy PS1. My eldest daughter loves it. I also still have a Radofin from circa 1982 in good working order. Must be worth all of 10 cents these days.
