Mystery Solved

Well, I know what's wrong with me. It's called a Hiatal Hernia. And yes, it hurts like hell. Has for a week now. Still, even after I got a camera into my stomach on Friday and the good Dr. Gholson diagnosed the problem. He gave me Prevacid which, coincidentally, prevents the acid in your stomach from forming (a true example of a marketing department coming up with a great drug name).

Supposedly this hernia (where the stomach sorta pushes through your chest/ab muscles) burnt up my esophogas with acid reflux and this was causing my week-long painful endeavor.

Two trips to the ER where I've been dosed with morphine, X-rayed, CAT scanned, probed and tested. So for now it's pain meds and rest.

But I should be well very soon. And painless very soon. For that I'm glad.

I'm glad you finally know what is the problem so it can be treated. I'm sorry to hear you've been feeling so ill lately.

Take care and get well soon.
