Family Matters, Week of 7-31-05

Ah, it’s late here and I’ve been very busy as of late, so excuse the brevity of this one.

Annie and Abby

Annie and Abs spent yesterday with my sister Rhonda. Annie looks up to my neice Courtney (age 8…I think?) so much, that it’s nice to hear reports of her behaving just like her neice (who is well behaved of course). Abby is her usual, wonderful self, with little to report than a massive influx of giggling.

Ericka

Ericka has been just as sick as the kids this past week, slowly recovering thanks to fluids, Tylenol, and rest. I’ve tried to take care of her, but I seem to fail miserably at it (at least that’s what she tells me). I am glad, however, that my beautiful wife is getting back to good health. Yay!

Etc

Tuesday’s entry was deleted because, frankly, after reading it later it felt a little bit harsher than I planned it. I wanted to channel the ghost of Maddox, but the more I looked at it the worse I felt. I may put it back up…I just haven’t made up my mind yet.

I’ll be back tomorrow with a much more thought out and structured piece. Just you wait.
