New Developments
Well, it's official: My wife's blog is here. Go feast your eyes on an uncensored look at the world through a stay-at-home mom's eyes, let alone one married to me (I know, the horror!). She has a few posts already, and I'll be sure to pressure her into a post a (week)day if possible. I know I've grown quickly accustomed to the Mon-Fri schedule, but how she warms up to it is a different story.
Anyway, it's nice to finally get that out there. I'll make a Neat Button for her blog soon to stick on the right column over there.
Now I would like to say thank you for my wife for picking up Gran Turismo 4, and it is as great as advertised. Tough, and will take a lot of getting used to, but in between football games on NFL2k4 (yes, 2k4, picked it up for $5 used), it is an amazing diversion. The graphics are to die for.
But even beyond that, I have a dilemma: I now must find the funds (or trade in goods) equal the amount for a PSP (Playstation Portable). I mean, just look at the thing. Its raw sexiness, not unlike that found in my recent iPod Shuffle purchase, causes me to want it with a desire that borders on creepy. But creepiness notwithstanding, it will be mine. I will play Wipeout again, on a beautiful 16:9 screen, cursing its short battery life while I fly around the corners of Ridge Racer.
Now to come up with $300 by March 24th or trade my soul (or a shit-ton of possessions to EB Games) to make it mine.
Only time will tell, but when there's a will, there's a geek willing to trade his favorite things for the latest and greatest toys.
