Final Notice

Okay, now these little scare tactics are really getting on my nerves.

Directly from my Inbox (following my last email):

Dear Evan Erwin <eerwin@gmail.com>,

Thanks for your email.

YOU HAVE BEEN PUT ON NOTICE

We at Herb Newton Nissan ask that you please remove our trade mark name & link from your website.

THIS IS OUR FINAL EMAIL REQUEST.

Ugh. My reply:

You have no legal basis for these threats. Please stop threatening me.

Read the following. There is nothing unlawful about my posts, or my link.

Thanks

Evan

I'm really beginning to wonder if these people actually read the links I've given them. My words? Sure. But to actually process the information I've given them, perhaps that is asking too much. Regardless, it is the facts, it is the truth, it is the law.

He might as well have said "Thanks for the email. I don't bother to read your silly links."

Final notice. Heh. I've seen people scared by these tactics before, and I'll have to see something from an actual lawyer who has some basis in fact before I'm going to bow down to these people. The courts have already showed, particularly in the legal document linked in my last reply, that my post is not infringing on their copyright.

Final notice. Ridiculous.

Maybe you'd take the link down, if you were to get a free car? LOL :)
