There and Back Again
Jesus, has it been since Sept 6th since I wrote anything?
Hell, I don't know what to write on here much anymore. One is the idea that future employers will google their hearts out (hi guys!), not that I have anything to hide, but also that I have quickly gone into a very strange cycle of sleeplessness and minutia.
No, I have not found employment as of yet, but I am enjoying the time with the fam.
I have, however, been greatly productive in my other line of work, ie Star Chamber. I also just got another little article published on StarCityGames, and look forward to the new Magic the Gathering set Champions of Kamigawa. I now play via magic-league, and using Magic Workstation and Apprentice, both of which are very cool (Workstation is better) and allow me to not sink Supah Cash into Magic Online, the official cash cow of Wizards of the Coast. When your digital objects cost as much as paper, something smells fishy. Luckily we can move on from these shady practices and play the free alternatives. They're killer fun, and you can do all sorts of geeky Magic things with them.
Anyway, for those who still read my little blog, it will become much more active once I get a job once again. The resumes are out and the prospects are good. The waiting is the hardest part. I hate the waiting, but love the different opportunities I see out there.
